Changelog: Spring 2021

We are pleased to announce an important update to YouTube metrics. This is the first iteration, focusing on the deep-level metrics on the video level, including a historic development of a single video.

Data
This update has created and updated data sources:

• youtubeAnalyticsVideos - private-level aggregated data on videos created within the selected time period.
  
• youtubeAnalyticsTopVideos - [UPDATE] private-level data of the top videos within the channel from the selected time period. The update removes any previous limitations of a maximum of 200 videos.
  
• youtubeAnalyticsVideosTimeSeries - interval-based private-level data (daily, weekly, monthly) for each video.

This includes two improvements for profile search:

• Warnings and errors are more transparently shared in case a profile could not be found using the URL of a specific social media profile

• Consecutive searches with the same term will result in no extra loading time

Holding private-level data about videos of YouTube channels created within the selected time period.

This is a small update to our relative date language usable in our date selector across the tool. Now supports all types of units for "This ..." and "Previous ..." including day, week, month, quarter, half-year, and year.

New examples:

• Previous 3 quarters

• Previous 3 half-years

• This year

• Previous 2 years

• Previous 20 days

This way we cover all commonly used units across "Last ...", "Previous ..." and "This ...". Only for "Last ..." the units quarter and half-year have been excluded as those specifically referred to an absolute range in relation to a calendar year.

We have refreshed and consolidated our color palette within our tool. 

We are thrilled to announce that quintly has added IGTV to its data source collection. It was especially sought after by a lot of our clients and we are very happy to deliver it just one day after the official release (as of 16th of March 2021). This update brings both public and private data from IGTV.

Not only our platform is getting improvements, but also our IT infrastructures. We are happy to report that thanks to our latest changes, we were able to significantly improve the data loading speed by up to 30-40%.

LinkedIn Stories can now also be tagged using our post tagging feature.

To accompany a new released data source, we have created a set of completely new metrics dedicated to IGTV.

We are thrilled to announce that you can now co-label your reports/dashboards with a custom logo. This is another feature that was on top of the wishlist of our clients.

With this implementation we are now exposing the data source schema via our quintly API. This enables customer to programmatically get available data sources and details about their columns.

Based on a recent change by Instagram we can now also show the sum of video views of videos inside a carousel post.
